The state has acquired funding to promote green technology and equipment to businesses that are prepared to implement green, energy-saving products...

Businesses must pay for the cost of installation, while the state's funds will cover the energy-saving equipment, such as turbines and solar panels. Programs submitted for consideration must project savings of at least 50% over conventional utility costs, and must include the entire businesses' utility needs (installing partial systems is not allowed). There is $2 million in funding available, and there is no limit to how large or small the businesses are that enter the program. Time of performance is one year, beginning July 1.
